Do you like the hospitality of the Ukrainian people?
     Peter Langet, the coach of the German team: Ukraine is a very hospitable and friendly country with polite and attentive people. The members of the organizing committee and all the volunteers involved made us feel at home. I like the Ukrainian culture very much. I am very much looking forward to the bus tour Kiev in order to see all the famous sightseeing places of which I have heard a lot.

What can you say about the level of organization of the Championship?

      The day-off of our guests was a great success. The weather was sunny and nice which also supported us in organizing a holiday for the players. They visited the most exciting sightseeing places in Kyiv: the picturesque banks of the river Dnipro with all the beautiful nature, golden tops of the Ukrainian churches and the famous monument ‘Rodina-mother’. It seemed that there could be nothing more beautiful than the view of one of the most famous monastery Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

     The first round of games is now over. We can finally relax and have a beautiful day-off before the start of the second round. For some of the teams the Championship will go on, whereas the other teams will proudly return back to their countries with the awards they earned. From Group ‘A’ the winner teams are Bochum University (GER) and Castellon University (ESP) that have dominated the group with 7 and 5 points respectively. In Group B the leaders are Ivano-Frankivsk University (UKR) and Chieti University (ITA) with 7 and 4 points respectively. The team of Katowice AWF (POL) from this group also got 4 points but lost the lead by other statistics.

       Today in the morning at the stadium of the National Agrarian University a match between MAUP (Ukraine) and Garlik (Turkey) took place. It was a sharp and deadly battle. No one wanted to give up. It is also necessary to mention that the level of the game was equal. Nobody could score during the first period.
